July 2

Oh my goodness Charlotte is so beautiful! Tell Semrad family congrats! :) Oh I can't wait to meet that angel. I am so excited for you all for the 4th of July and girls camp and all these fun summer things! I keep forgetting it's summer.... ha ha we are going to WIMBLEDON today but it is pouring buckets! :S Oh England. ha ha Will you please please send me a picture of the back garden and the house and things? Sister Paulsen wants to see home and I would love to as well! :)

My goodness what a beautiful week. In the last 2 weeks we have had the major blessing of going to the temple not once, not twice, but THREE times. :) We went though once- for our last conference with President and Sister Shamo. Oh it was such a sweet day. They were so filled with love and tears- we all were. It was a bitter sweet moment. Excited for the new adventures that await them but so so sad to see them go. They left on such a happy note. It was wonderful to hear their "last words" to us as missionaries. Their last words were all about their love for us and their love for the Saviour. The most important things. :). It was so wonderful to be able to go through the temple again as well. Oh I had missed it. An elder from Ireland asked me to go through for his great grandmother Anne Ellis and that was such a neat experience for me. The whole day- it was just so blissful. So our new president is here- we haven't met him and don't know when we will meet him but we are so very excited for it all- what a new adventure!

The other times we went to the temple we took a girl we are teaching called Lisa and then a boy called Braulio (the one I told you about that we taught the Plan of Salvation to last week that just loved it) and both of them just adored the temple. Of course they did! Both days the sun was SHINING gloriously it was such a blessing. We watched the Joseph Smith movie with Braulio there on Saturday and my goodness the spirit was so strong. So strong. It felt as if we had gone inside the temple when we left because we had all learned so much. He kept thanking us for taking him there and then messaged us last night about how he will never ever forget the day :) Keep praying for Braulio. He knows it is true- all of it. But there are a few things that are holding him back. He'll get there. I'm not worried one bit :) So this week I guess that is the big thing that has stuck out to me and that I am feeling so strongly for- the importance of the temple and the covenants we make there. That is what EVERYTHING points to. There is no sacrifice too great to enter and receive the blessing of the temple. What a blessing we have to have it so close to us here in London!

Have I told you about Mal? The one that came up to us in the tube "Mormons- I used to meet with the missionaries 20 years ago and wanted to be baptised but my wife wouldn't let me but now my wife and I aren't together. I want to be baptised. I miss the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith and sisters- I want to go to the temple. I know I have to be baptised first but.. I'll get there." :) Well we met with him a few times this week and he said to us "Sister I think I'll be ready to be baptised in 4 weeks. Ya 4 weeks I'll be ready. And sisters I might need you to call me or message or stop by everyday to help me- do you think you could do that?" Ha! Mal, it would be our pleasure! Now the only thing is he needs to get to church! He keeps having things that come up on Sunday morning that is stopping him from coming to church and that is HUGE! We need to be at church every Sunday to learn and to take the sacrament and to get that spiritual BOOST we all need so badly every week. Pray for that.

So Kate asked me what the missionaries are doing for the Olympics here. Well... we are being missionaries! ha ha I honestly don't know- maybe now that we have a new president who will be here for the Olympics he might tell us what he wants us to do and things like that- otherwise we are just going to go out and just talk to EVERYONE about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Ahh this is the best job in the world. I love you all so very very dearly. Keep calm and carry on! Sister Mills.
