Happy Birthday Jason! Happy Birthday Daysa bug!
Ok mum before I forget, will you copy the pretzel recipe from the bear cook book that Mary gave us and email it to me? :D Sister Boman and I have been craving pretzels- they have a delicious pretzel place at Clapham Junction station but it's like £4 for a pretzel! Ridic.
This week we helped a woman called Silvia move into her home. She just moved here from Italy... and a little bit all over the world and she is wonderful. She had us over for dinner last night to thank us and we ate amongst the boxes (we didn't finish everything!) but it was amazing the peace that we felt there even in all that maddness. I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost and that we are able to have it with us even and especially in our homes. It was just so nice to be in a home. :) We are invited into members homes nearly every night for dinner and everytime it reminds me how important it is to make our home a sacred place. Home is a refuge from the storm, I can feel that even here in homes that aren't even necessarily ours! We spoke about the work here in England and the work there in Italy and her conversion story. She had some of her friends things in her home while her friend was away and wanted to read a book so she looked and there was a manual about the lift and teachings of Jesus Christ so she opened it and read the first book and said she was there in tears just after one page, so she looked to see who published it and contacted "the church with a ridiculously long name" and found the missionaries and was baptised 2 weeks later. :) I love that. I love hearing peoples conversion stories and knowing that the church and gospel of Jesus Christ is the same no matter where we go.
Oh I got the package ps- thank you!! Silvia went to the temple on Saturday and went and picked up our post for us, so it was like Christmas at church! :) We were able to teach Aline again this week, a friend of Jennie (a member here) and she LOVES the gospel and everything we are teaching her! She is so sweet. It has been a joy teaching her and Braulio both. Our little Portuguese speakers. Sister Boman has been loving the practice. Ok one other thing... the sun has been GLORIOUS this week! We spent all the time outside that we could. We did our weekly planning outside. Most of our teaches outside. We ate lunch outside... ha ha. I'll send some pics of it. Right now in fact:
*our sunshine weekly planning sesh
*Team GB!
*with some of the elders at the Thames last week. There are these statues of Wenlock and Mandeville (the olympic mascots) all over London, they are weird. But I have gotten used to them. I think they're cute! ha ha anyways that's us, Elder Oviatt from Washington D.C., Elder Tsutsunashveli from Georgia (the country, not the state), Elder Moulin from France, and Elder Atwal from Birmingham!
